Things You Might See
Finger raised in the air: "I am OOC". Either the character is invisible or not there, or the player is making an OOC comment.
Bright day-glo yellow jacket or armband: "I am OOC". Same as above. Typically used by the Refs when they wish to remain in an area OOC for long periods of time.
Finger pressed to lips, followed by the name of a language: "I am speaking this language". If your character cannot understand that language you cannot follow what is being said. The name of the language should be repeated often so that eavesdroppers get the message.
Satin hat in one of the colours of magic: "I am a magical entity". The creature looks much as it appears OOC, but is entirely made of magical energy of the colour denoted by the hat and outfit.
Symbol painted on the forehead: "I am a spiritual entity". The creature looks much as it does OOC, but it is commonly known IC that forehead markings denote spiritual entities. Please do not include a clearly marked symbol on the forehead of your character as part of any facepaint you might be using, without specific instructions from the Refs.
